My Educational Philosophy

As professional teacher standards, rules, and ongoing education all play a part in my role in the classroom. For me to be successful I must possess and maintain personal, moral, and academic standards, so that I may influence with sincerity and authenticity those I wish to teach. I work my hardest because that is the only way that I can reasonably expect my students to do the same. Young people today need to be pushed in a positive manner into learning how to learn. I am in the business of not creating mindless drones, but of creating thoughtful, productive members of society. These goals are lofty to say the least and they cannot be accomplished alone. I must work together with the students, parents, administration, and other teachers to help each student to reach their full potential. I do believe that can be done for every student.
